On the 14^th November 2018 at 19h00 SWATCO will, once again, be hosting a talk with an acknowledged expert in their field. Mike Perry of African Reptiles and Venom will be giving a talk on venomous snakes. Since 1963 Mike has been involved with snakes and runs various courses.

The talk will consist of the following:

• Introduction
• Venom extraction and production of anti-venom
• Venomous snakes in your area
• Types of venom
• What you will be trained on a course with Mike Perry.

 

The talk promises to be eye-opening and will also be dispelling many myths regarding Southern African snakes.
